Location: Atlanta, GA

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – Architecture to lead the delivery of high-profile projects across commercial, senior living, hospitality, multi-family residential, and mixed-use sectors. This is a client-facing leadership role requiring deep expertise in codes, construction methods, detailing, and project management. The ideal candidate will be a licensed architect with NCARB certification, proven technical ability, and strong leadership skills to mentor teams and ensure design excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage production teams in the creation of permit and construction documentation.
  • Oversee project workflows, coordinating across internal teams and external consultants.
  • Implement rigorous QA/QC processes to maintain technical and design standards.
  • Manage multiple medium-to-large projects, ensuring budgets, schedules, and deliverables are met.
  • Provide authoritative technical guidance during design, documentation, and construction administration.
  • Collaborate with firm Principals and support cross-functional departments including Marketing, Accounting, and Quality Assurance.
  • Mentor project managers and staff, fostering a culture of professional growth.
  • Execute all phases of the architectural process from programming through construction administration.
  • Monitor labor, billing, collections, and project profitability using project management tools.
  • Conduct field visits, review submittals, respond to RFIs, and provide technical oversight throughout construction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 15+ years of experience in architectural practice, including at least 2 years as a Project Manager.
  • Licensed Architect with NCARB certification.
  • Strong technical expertise in construction documentation standards, detailing, and constructability.
  • Proficiency in Revit; experience with Smartsheet and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead all phases of architectural design and construction.
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
