Position Overview

We are seeking a System Administrator Level 2 to provide systems administration and storage support for mission-critical IT infrastructure in a secure environment.

This position will support the implementation, operation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise systems and associated infrastructure. The System Administrator will work across server, storage, network, client, and operating system environments, providing hands-on technical support and resolving issues that impact system availability, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide implementation, troubleshooting, administration, and maintenance support for enterprise IT systems.
  • Support IT infrastructure and associated system administration processes.
  • Monitor system health, availability, capacity, and performance.
  • Support server, storage, client, network, and mobile device environments.
  • Perform in-depth troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of system issues.
  • Provide Tier 1 support and serve as an escalation resource for more complex Tier 2 issues.
  • Analyze escalated tickets and provide detailed technical feedback.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and dispatch-system issues.
  • Configure, administer, and maintain Linux, Unix, Windows, and other applicable operating systems.
  • Install and maintain operating system software.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and maintain system integrity.
  • Configure network components and supporting infrastructure.
  • Implement operating system enhancements designed to improve reliability and performance.
  • Support system capacity planning, monitoring, escalation, and day-to-day operations.
  • Communicate system status and technical issues to management and internal customers.
  • Work collaboratively with technical teams to resolve infrastructure and storage-related issues.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of System Administrator experience on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Five additional years of applicable System Administrator experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.
  • Strong experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Experience administering Linux, Unix, Windows, or comparable operating systems.
  • Experience supporting server and storage environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience resolving escalated system and hardware issues.
  • Understanding of system monitoring, capacity planning, reliability, and performance optimization.
Clearance Requirement

An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for this position.
