Job Description Sr. Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer (Design) Arcadis DPS, a full EPCMV services firm located in Conshohocken PA, Framingham MA and Cary NC has built a strong global presence by delivering world-class service and developing successful ongoing client relationships around the globe. For over 40 years, with our core business focused in the life sciences sector, we have provided leading biotech and pharmaceutical companies with a comprehensive range of services involved in the design, construction, and commissioning/qualification and validation of research, development and process manufacturing facilities.

Arcadis DPS is looking for a talented and experienced Plumbing/Fire Protection Designer Engineer for our Northeast team with a strong understanding of the engineering lifecycle related to facility design and construction in clean room, laboratories, biotech, pharma, or Life sciences industries. This is a full-time position and with an excellent salary and benefits package. Responsibilities: Strong understanding of engineering lifecycle related to Plumbing/Fire Protection deliverables.

Work directly with lead engineers to design Plumbing/Fire Protection systems for Biotech and Pharmaceutical clients. Detailed design experience for Plumbing/Fire Protection systems. Layout and size equipment on floor plans.

Responsibilities will likely include demonstrated understanding of utilities, plumbing, lab waste piping, fire protection, etc. Ability to coordinate and interact effectively with other MEP disciplines. Identifying deliverables, defining requirements, creating design drawings.

Develop technical specifications and layouts while working in tandem with project managers and engineers across multiple disciplines. Qualifications: 7+ years of facility design and construction in clean room, laboratories, biotech, pharma, or Life sciences industries. Strongly motivated, well organized, and shows professional initiative.

Takes ownership of assignments, can work both independently and as part of the team. The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment effectively. The ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. #LI-JT1
