Are you passionate about early childhood education and making a difference in the lives of young children? We are seeking nurturing, enthusiastic, and dedicated teachers to join our team at Primrose School!
At Primrose, we believe who children become is as important as what they know. Our Balanced Learning® approach inspires curiosity, confidence, creativity, and compassion while helping children develop a lifelong love of learning.
Position Summary
The Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage daily classroom activities for a group of children
  • Implement lesson plans and classroom schedules using the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum
  • Assess and support each child's developmental progress
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members
  • Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities
  • Attend staff meetings, trainings, and school events as required
  • Support the overall operation of the school and assist leadership as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations

Qualifications
  • Must meet all state licensing requirements for early childhood education staff
  • Previous experience in a licensed child care or early childhood setting preferred
  • Knowledge of the social, emotional, and developmental needs of young children
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds as required for child safety and classroom activities

Education Requirements
  • Infant - Preschool Teachers: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Pre-Kindergarten Teachers: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required
  • Kindergarten Teachers: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and state teaching certification required
