Division: 06 – Retail Banking
Job Type: Non-Exempt / Prime-Time (32–38 hours/week)
Hourly Range: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour

Job Overview

As a Bank Operations Specialist - Entry, you will provide outstanding service to customers and bank staff by telephone, assisting with deposit activity and guiding staff and customers on bank policies and procedures.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Occasional Saturdays

Essential Functions

  • Cross-trained in all duties within the Bank Operations department and fill in as needed.
  • Support the Operations and Technology Division, Retail Banking, and corporate goals.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with internal procedures and local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Complete tasks timely and accurately as outlined in the Bank Operations manual.
  • Handle a predetermined number of secondary functions daily as assigned by the Bank Operations Manager.
  • Maintain a high level of job performance to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • Two years of banking or bank operations experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively with staff and customers, in person and by phone
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer use
  • Flexible to work varied hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
