Job description

Family or Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity

AdventHealth Primary Care Network is seeking a Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team. This role offers a supportive practice environment, broad clinical exposure, and the opportunity to care for patients across the lifespan while maintaining a sustainable work-life balance.

This model focuses on delivering comprehensive care, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care. We place a strong emphasis on patient-centered care within the network through patient engagement, digital health tools, cultural sensitivity, and accessible locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to pediatric through geriatric patients, including women's health
  • Deliver independent and collaborative medical management of acute and chronic conditions
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including labs and imaging
  • Monitor treatment plans and coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
  • Provide clinical supervision to Advanced Practice Providers and care teams to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
  • Board-certified in Family or Internal Medicine; board-eligible candidates will be considered if certification can be obtained before hire
  • Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN & PA-C)
  • Comfortable with minor office-based procedures
  • Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain before hire
  • DEA license or ability to obtain before hire
  • BLS required; ACLS (preferred)
