"LGBTQ+ Primary Care (MD/DO, PA, or NP) or Specialty Care (MD/DO) — Seattle" Join a Primary Care Practice Built for the Community We Serve

We are an independent and established LGBTQ+ primary care practice located on Capitol Hill, in Seattle, seeking a full-time Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner to join our team of three experienced clinicians.

We believe our patients should never have to explain or justify who they are to get good care, and we're looking for a clinician who brings that same instinct to every visit.

We are also open to physician (MD/DO) specialists whose expertise is in high demand among our patient base, such as psychiatry, endocrinology or gynecology, for the right candidate. If your specialty serves a need our patients consistently bring to us, we want to hear from you as well.

Our clinic sits on Capitol Hill, an established and engaged LGBTQ+ neighborhood in Seattle, Washington. Our practice has built deep trust after nearly 20 years providing dedicated primary care. You'd join a small team where your clinical voice matters, in a city consistently ranked among the most livable in the country.

The Practice Model: Autonomy With Ownership

We want to be upfront about our practice’s unique structure, as it isn't the right fit for everyone.

We operate as a partnership (K-1 / PLLC), not a traditional employed or salaried position. In practice, that means:

  • You control your schedule. Clinicians set their own hours and patient volume, and enjoy a level of flexibility that is difficult to find in traditional employed practice or hospital-affiliated settings.Most of the clinical work is on site, though some telehealth work from home is possible.
  • Your earnings are tied directly to your production. There's no ceiling imposed by an employer's compensation grid — what you build, you keep. The tradeoff is that income is variable: time off or a lighter schedule means lower earnings during that period, and each partner shares proportionally in practice overhead (rent, utilities, supplies).
  • You have a real stake in the practice, not just a job within it. Decisions about how the clinic runs and grows are made democratically, by consensus among partners — every partner has an equal voice, not just the clinicians who've been here longest.

This structure tends to suit clinicians who want genuine autonomy and are comfortable with the entrepreneurial tradeoffs that come with it. We're happy to walk through the specific financial details, current partner production numbers, and expense-sharing structure early in the conversation.

What We’re Looking For
  • Current WA license/credentials (MD/DO, PA, or NP) and/or eligibility to practice in Washington State.
  • Demonstrated primary care experience, with genuine, demonstrable commitment to LGBTQ+ health (gender-affirming care, sexual health, HIV prevention and care, chronic disease management, preventive screening, etc.).
  • Alternatively, physician (MD/DO) board certification in relevant specialties (e.g. endocrinology, gynecology, psychiatry or others).
  • Cultural competence and comfort as a trusted, affirming primary care or specialty clinician for LGBTQ+ patients.
  • Comfort with a self-directed, production-based practice model.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and collegiality with a small, close-knit team.
  • Willingness to share the responsibility of nonclinical tasks, such as inventory, marketing and workflow improvement.
