Board Certified Primary Care Doctor

Capital Health Plan is hiring a full-time Board Certified Primary Care Doctor in Tallahassee, FL. Ready to take the next step in a place where your contributions matter?

What's the scope?

Your earning potential is driven by a competitive salary, allowing you to align your productivity with your professional goals while practicing meaningful medicine. Beyond compensation, you'll benefit from a thoughtfully designed package including:

  • Competitive salary with a physician incentive program - over $300,000 total earning potential
  • Employer-provided insurance coverage to include malpractice, life, and disability insurance
  • Health insurance is fully paid for you and your dependents
  • Practice panel size goals are adjusted based on the illness burden of your patients

  • Opportunities for teaching, serving as a designated clinical training site for Florida State University - College of Medicine
  • Four-and-a-half-day work week with minimal on-call responsibilities

  • Four weeks of paid time off. This is increased to five weeks after four years
  • One week of CME time plus up to $4,000 per year for CME expenses
  • Employer contribution to a simplified pension plan (IRA-SEP) of 12% annually; vested after 6 months of service

What's required to become our Board Certified Primary Care Doctor?

  • Active licensure to practice medicine in the State of Florida
  • Board certification in Family Medicine
  • Ability to obtain medical staff privileges within the local hospital network
  • Strong clinical judgment and commitment to quality care

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managed care or population health models
  • Strong patient engagement and communication skills
  • Experience working in team-based care environments
