Job description

Our Client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picker Packer to join their warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Sterling, VA
Pay rate: 18.00/hr
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00A-5:00P
Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unpack, verify, and inspect all incoming shipments; accurately stock materials in designated locations.
  • Accurately pick, process, and package outgoing customer orders using warehouse management software.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers) and potentially delivery vehicles.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all company policies and safety standards.
  • Assist with inventory control, maintain accurate records, and support teammates as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Outlook); experience with inventory or warehouse management software is preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, forklift, or order picker experience is highly desired.
  • Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a commitment to customer service.
