As a Pricing Associate at Kalorik, you will play a critical role in our pricing strategy, ensuring our products are competitively priced while maximizing profitability. Position Summary
Our Pricing Associate is the subject matter expert on all things related to pricing for our consumer sales organization. This role includes ownership of the master pricing catalog, promotional guides, pricing approval process and controls, and pricing policies and documents. Additionally, this role partners with cross-functional teams on the development, implementation, and lifecycle management of sales promotions and campaigns, and products (from launch to phase-out).x
A successful Pricing Associate works at the confluence of Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Logistics, and integrates all elements to construct viable and verifiable pricing tools and models.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the VP of Products and Brand Marketing teams on the development and implementation of promotions/offers, including performance tracking, auditing, lifecycle management, and enhancements to the promotion engine.
  • Ownership and maintenance of the master pricing catalog for all B2B sales channels, in the USA but also including Export and Canada.
  • Conduct audits of promotional usage in the live sales environment and produce price/discount exception reports.
  • Maintain the official Offer Guides and Pricing Worksheets used as a resource for the Sales and Finance departments.
  • End to end responsibility over the Price Change approval process and controls including ownership and maintenance of the Price Change Request Forms.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, Sourcing, Marketing, Product Management, and IT teams, to understand and gather all components of cost and price.
  • Assist with research and documentation of changes to products/services, pricing, and promotions. Audit and analyze data related to return on investment (ROI) on corporate promotional programs.
  • Support the Sales and Omni teams on the accurate and timely communication of changes to pricing, promotions, and products/services.
  • Partner with the Insights team on market and competitive research, analytics, and documentation.
  • Use market research and analysis to understand pricing trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences in the small kitchen appliance industry.
  • Prepare pricing reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a matrixed corporate environment, with previous duties related to Logistics, Finance, or Marketing, and working across different distribution channels (Brick and Mortar, Online Sales, Direct to Consumer/Marketplace).
  • Proven experience in pricing analysis, market research, or a similar analytical role, preferably in the small kitchen appliance industry.
  • Salesforce experience a plus.
Preferred Knowledge amp; Experience
  • Strong Communication/Presentation Skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills, with ability to look at data and identify errors.
  • Advanced MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills including pivot tables, v-lookups and macros.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, in a fast-paced environment.
