Responsibilities

  • Follow lesson plans and school policies provided by the classroom teacher.
  • Create and maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment.
  • Guide, encourage, and support students throughout the school day.
  • Effectively manage classroom behavior while maintaining respect and consistency.
  • Communicate professionally with teachers, administrators, and school staff.
  • Accurately complete attendance, classroom notes, and end-of-day reports when required.
  • Represent PRG Educational with professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 60 successfully completed college credit hours from an accredited college or university.
  • Ability to successfully complete Michigan State Police and FBI fingerprinting and background checks.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong classroom management abilities.
  • Passion for working with children and supporting student success.
  • Consistently punctual and dependable.
  • Professional business attire is required while working in our partner schools.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to learn.
  • Eagerness to teach, mentor, guide, and inspire students.
