Prestige is growing! Prestige has locations in Marietta GA, Blue Ridge GA, Ellijay GA, Sylva NC, East Ridge TN, Decatur TN, Knoxville TN and Milford OH and we are growing in TN! We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to come be a part of our growing team! In this position, you will play a vital role in patient care, Prestige's highest priority! Prestige's growing network will allow you to meet and work with teammates all over the southeast region while working hand in hand with Doctors, Nurses and other fantastic medical professionals from different hospitals to provide the best medical transport experience for our patients. Prestige specializes in IFTs, Patient Appointments, Vent transports and long hauls. Prestige crew members include EMT's, AEMT's Paramedics, Vent Medics and Critical Care Paramedics. Minimum Requirements

  • Must hold a current and in good standing, EMT license/licenses for the state/states they will be working in. Must provide proof of credentials, credentials will be verified.
  • Hold a current BLS/CPR card.
  • Hold a current, valid state issued drivers license with less than 5 points and no significant moving violations withing the last three years. For non-drivers- a current state issued ID.
  • Must hold a current EVOC certification- can be obtained in house.
  • Clean criminal background check.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.
  • Must be able to provide a social security card or valid/current work visa.

Responsibilities

  • Must arrive to work on time, in full, appropriate uniform and ready to work.
  • Must clock in/clock out on time or as directed by your supervisor.
  • Must maintain good personal hygiene.ย 
  • Have medical knowledge pertaining to your scope of practice or above and the ability to perform skills within your scope of practice or as directed by physician/medical control.ย ย ย 
  • Perform daily truck inspections appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Must maintain cleanliness of the ambulance and stations IE: wash trucks, take out trash, sweep, mop, clean station etc
  • Must restock truck supplies as needed and appropriately.ย 
  • Must respond to transfer requests in a timely manner.
  • Must communicate with dispatch, other co-workers, Hospital staff, the patient and patientโ€™s family appropriately and respectfully.
  • Must understand contamination risks, how to properly don and doff PPE, decontaminate yourself, the truck, and your equipment.ย 
  • Must be able to obtain a good patient care report, patient documentation/charting, and how to give a proper hand off report.ย 
  • Must know your state protocols.ย 
  • Must follow your appropriate chain of command.ย 

Duties to Patients

  • All patient care must begin with friendly introductions to your patient and/or patientsโ€™ family if they are present.ย 
  • Obtain a good patient care report from the nursing staff. IE: chief complaint, treatment received, treatment needed enroute, acuity etc.
  • Gather all patient care paperwork and patient belongings if any.ย 
  • Safely move patient to the stretcher and secure with all straps.ย 
  • Complete a thorough patient assessment, obtain 2 sets of vitals at minimum. Patient vitals must be reassessed every 15-30 minutes depending on patientsโ€™ current status, length of transport etc.ย 
  • Must be able to give a good patient hand off report.ย 
  • Complete an accurate EPCR, obtain all appropriate signatures and attach all appropriate paperwork to the EPCR. EPCRs must be completed by the end of each shift.ย 
  • All patient care must be delivered appropriately and within your scope of practice or per Medical Control Direction.ย ย 
  • All patient care MUST be delivered with compassion and respect regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, personal beliefs etc.ย 

Location: KNOXVILLE

Prestige Patient Transport, LLC is licensed under Ohio law as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) provider. We operate multiple transport units from our Milford and Mt. Orab, Ohio locations to serve the Tri-State area.
In 2019, Prestige obtained its Texas license as an ALS level service and opened its first office in Victoria, Texas. In 2021 Prestige expanded to San Angelo, Texas to serve Shannon Health, as well as nursing facilities and outlying hospitals.
In early 2021 Prestige expanded to North Carolina, obtaining their North Carolina ALS license, and opening an office in Murphy, North Carolina to serve Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital. Later in 2021 Prestige obtained its ALS license in Georgia and opened its first Georgia office in Blue Ridge, Georgia to serve Fannin Regional Hospital. In mid-2022 a second Georgia office was opened in Ellijay to serve Piedmont Mountainside hospitals in Ellijay and Jasper, Georgia.
In early 2022 Prestige expanded to Chattanooga, Tennessee, and currently operate at an ALS level. We serve multiple hospitals in the Chattanooga area.
