Position Overview:


The AM Pressure Wash Team Member is part of the Operations Department's Park Services team and is responsible for ensuring the park is spotless and presentable before opening. This role focuses primarily on thoroughly washing down the park to eliminate stains, spills, and bird activity. Maintaining high park standards is essential to providing guests with a Good-Clean-Fun experience!


Position Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for the cleanliness and overall presentation of the park, including entryways, restrooms, walkways, attraction towers, stairs, and other guest-facing areas.
  • Ensure all walkways, entrances, attraction towers, and stairs are thoroughly hosed, pressure washed (if applicable) and treated for stains.
  • Conduct trash sweeps throughout the park's premises prior to daily opening.
  • Maintain trash receptacles by replacing bags and hosing them out as needed. 
  • Safely operate all machinery and tools, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform basic landscaping tasks, including but not limited to leaf blowing and weed pulling.
  • Assist with brushing, netting, and vacuuming pools and water attractions as needed.
  • Comply with all Pyek Group and Typhoon Texas policies and procedures.
  • Provide intentional and Texas-friendly customer service and assist guests with questions, directions, and other needs as requested.
  • Proactively identify operational and equipment issues and collaborate with leadership to resolve them when appropriate.
  • Embody Typhoon Texas's moment making keys of intentionality, Texas-friendliness, safety, cleanliness, and fun throughout all departments.
  • Assist with additional responsibilities, roles, departments, or park locations as needed.


Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older. 
  • Must be able and willing to operate a power washer and trash compactor.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. 
  • Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including direct sunlight, high temperatures, wind, or rain. 
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds as part of daily responsibilities. 
  • Must be available to start work by 6:00 AM. Average shift length is 4-6 hours.
  • Basic knowledge of chemical safety, including the ability to read Safety Data Sheets (SDS), is required.
  • Understanding of Bloodborne Pathogens, bodily fluid cleanup, and appropriate personal protective measures is required.
  • Must demonstrate initiative, independent and critical thinking skills, and trustworthiness.
  • Experience with cleaning machinery (pressure washers, floor scrubbers, pool vacuums) is strongly preferred.
  • Management may add or adjust responsibilities at any time.
