**We're hiring a Vessel Welder II for our Northwest Houston area client! **We are looking for experienced, safety-focused welders who are ready to interview immediately!

**

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:**

Job Title: Vessel Welder II

Location: Northwest Houston, TX

Pay: Starting at $23.00/hourplus shift differential (based on experience and weld test results)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM–5:30 AM (Overtime and Saturdays as needed; Saturday work is typically communicated on Thursdays)

Duration: Temp-to-Hire

Description of Duties: Perform advanced vessel and pipe welding on carbon steel and stainless steel components, including pressure vessel shells, nozzles, couplings, and flanges. Utilize SMAW (Stick), GMAW (MIG), FCAW (Flux Core), and gouging processes to complete 2"–6" pipe welds in the 6G fixed position with uphill progression. Read engineering drawings and welding procedures, set up and fit components, control heat input and weld tolerances, and produce full-penetration welds that meet quality standards. Consistently achieve production, quality, and safety goals while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Requirements: Two to four years of vessel fabrication or pressure vessel welding experience required. Must be proficient in Stick, MIG, and Flux Core welding processes and able to read and follow welding procedures and engineering drawings. Candidates must successfully pass employer weld tests, including 6G, 6-inch, and 2-inch 45-degree weld tests. Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and the ability to work safely in a fabrication shop environment are required.
