Press Brake Operator

Location: North Salt Lake, UT
Pay: $20.00 per hour (Weekly Pay)
Schedule: MondayThursday | 5:00 AM 3:30 PM (10 hours)

We are currently hiring an Experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team in North Salt Lake. If you have strong blueprint reading skills and hands-on experience with press brake machinery, we want to hear from you. ***MUST WORK HAVE EXPERIENCE***


What We Offer

Key Responsibilities/Requirements

  • Read CAD drawings and blueprints to produce precision components with tight tolerances

  • Interpret angle projections, bend deductions, radii, and tolerances

  • Set up and operate press brake equipment, including tonnage calculations and tooling selection

  • Align and install punches, dies, guides, stops, and back gauges

  • Operate both manual and automated machinery

  • Run test pieces and inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met

  • Use precision measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, protractor)

  • Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed

  • Perform finishing tasks such as grinding and smoothing

  • Maintain production logs, including quantities and defects

  • Follow all safety procedures and state regulations

  • Assist with routine maintenance and calibration of equipment

  • Must have reliable transportation


Equipment Experience Required

Experience operating the following machines is preferred (Provide Resume):

  • Amada RG-50

  • Amada RG-80

  • Amada HG-3103

  • Amada Astro 100

  • Di-Acro machines

  • Manual back gauge systems


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator (resume required)

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing machinery and shop math

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings

  • Experience with CAD/CAM software preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong analytical and mechanical aptitude

  • Technical or vocational training preferred

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

  • Authorized to work in the United States
