Job description

Punch Press Machine Operator – 1st Shift

Location: Rogers, MN 55374

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Pay: $20-$22/hour

We are looking for a Punch Press Machine Operator to join our 1st shift manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating a punch press or similar press equipment and a strong mechanical aptitude.

Previous setup experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person on machine setup, adjustments, and our specific production processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on press experience who is ready to expand their skills and learn machine setup.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate punch press and related manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Learn and perform punch press setups, machine adjustments, and changeovers with training.
  • Read and follow basic blueprints, work instructions, and setup sheets.
  • Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify product dimensions.
  • Monitor production quality and make adjustments as needed.
  • Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and perform minor machine maintenance.
  • Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
  • Work independently while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating a punch press, stamping press, brake press, or similar manufacturing press equipment preferred.
  • Previous machine setup experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate on punch press setup.
