Brake Press Setup Technician Responsibilities:

  • The position is responsible and accountable for the safe and accurate setup and operation of CNC Brake Press equipment.
  • Expected to participate in the operation of machinery
  • Work with the team
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Brake Press Setup Technician Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED - Required

  • Previous Experience setting up CNC Brake Presses

  • Press Brake Operation: 2 years experience

  • Press Brake Setup: 2 years experience - Preferred

  • Blueprint Reading

  • Proper selection of dies and equipment

  • Accurate and timely completion of parts

  • Experience with measurement equipment

  • Basic Shop Math

  • Shows pride in work
