Job description

IHLE FABRICATIONS, LLC

President

Polk City, Iowa | Full-Time | On-Site

About Ihle Fabrications

Ihle Fabrications is a growing Central Iowa manufacturer of premium combine and ag equipment wear parts, proudly made in Polk City, Iowa. Our parts are fabricated from Hardox® wear steel and engineered to outlast OEM components at a lower cost, backed by an industry-leading 24-month warranty. We serve growers and dealers across North America with parts fitting John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Cat/Claas/Lexion, Drago, Gleaner, AGCO, and more — sold through our e-commerce platform, a national dealer network, and our on-site installation center.

Ihle Fabrications is a certified CNH Reman partner and has recently completed a major facility expansion. We are now seeking a proven leader to take the company through its next phase of growth.

The Opportunity

Reporting to ownership, the President will hold full P&L responsibility and day-to-day leadership of the company, including manufacturing operations, sales and marketing, finance, product development, and customer service. This is a hands-on executive role in an entrepreneurial, family-owned business — the right candidate will be equally comfortable setting strategy in the boardroom, walking the shop floor and work with our customers to grow the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the company's overall performance: revenue growth, profitability, cash flow, and operational execution.

  • Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing team across fabrication, sales, and administration.

  • Drive growth in all channels: direct-to-grower e-commerce, dealer/distributor sales, and OEM/reman partnerships (including our CNH Reman program).

  • Oversee manufacturing operations — laser cutting, forming, welding, and assembly — with a focus on quality, safety, throughput, and on-time delivery during peak seasonal demand.

  • Manage the product roadmap: identify new wear-part opportunities, prioritize development, and bring new SKUs to market ahead of harvest cycles.

  • Leverage NetSuite ERP as the operational backbone of the business — inventory, order management, purchasing, financials, and reporting.

  • Build annual budgets, forecasts, and KPIs; report results to ownership on a regular cadence.

  • Strengthen supplier relationships (including Hardox®/SSAB steel supply) and negotiate favorable terms.

  • Represent the company with key accounts, at industry trade shows, and within the ag equipment community.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, with at least 3–5 years in a general management or senior operations role with P&L ownership.

  • Metal fabrication, agricultural equipment, or aftermarket parts industry experience strongly preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite (or comparable ERP with a fast NetSuite ramp) — comfortable using the system daily to run the business.

  • Demonstrated success growing revenue through dealer/distribution channels and/or e-commerce.

  • Strong financial acumen: budgeting, costing, margin management, and working-capital discipline in a seasonal business.

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.

  • Knowledge of the agriculture industry and the harvest equipment lifecycle is a significant plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

  • Willing to be on-site in Polk City, Iowa, with occasional travel to dealers, trade shows, and key accounts.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.

  • Annual performance bonus tied to company results.

  • Long-term incentive opportunity for the right leader.

  • Health benefits, paid time off, and retirement plan.

How to Apply

Please submit a resume and a brief cover letter describing your leadership experience and interest in the role to susie@ihlefabrications.com with the subject line “President — [Your Name].” All inquiries will be held in strict confidence.
