Facilities Maintenance Manager

Job Summary:

The maintenance manager is responsible for maintaining all equipment, buildings, and property at Gainey's Concrete Products.

Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Oversee and implement all capital improvement projects of the company
  • Conducts performance evaluations for all direct reports.
  • Coaches employees and makes recommendations to the VP of Operations for discipline and termination of employees per company policy.
  • Lead, manage, and hold employees accountable.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, supervise, and perform repairs and maintenance on equipment.
  • Maintain the work order system ensuring that work orders are prioritized, well documented, and followed through.
  • Maintain a preventative maintenance program for all equipment and trucks, and batch plant to minimize downtime and damage to equipment.
  • Maintain an active date record of all maintenance performed on equipment.
  • Inspect and maintain the buildings and grounds at Gainey's.
  • Assures that the maintenance area is presentable, and everything is in good working order by focusing on housekeeping and preventive maintenance.
  • Maintains supplies and tools ensuring that our expenses are in line with the company budget.
  • Consistently observes, practices, and enforces the safe use of equipment and wearing PPE.
  • Conducts daily scheduling meetings with the maintenance supervisor to update work orders and assign work orders for the next shift.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Inspect work of technicians.
  • Plan, budget, and oversee capital and other special projects.

  • Diesel mechanic skills.

Physical Requirements:
