Job description

Position Summary:

First Digital Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Production Specialist to support litigation-related document production projects. Responsibilities include scanning, printing, OCR, Bates numbering, file conversions, trial binder preparation, electronic file management, quality control, and client communication. The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, excellent organizational skills, experience working under deadlines, and proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office 365. Prior litigation support, reprographics, eDiscovery, or legal document services experience is preferred.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Litigation document processing and production, including printing, scanning, OCR, Bates numbering, file conversion, binding, and finishing.
  • Receiving, organizing, uploading, and managing electronic documents and digital files.
  • Preparing trial binders, exhibit sets, deposition materials, and other litigation-related productions.
  • Handling various media and document formats, including CD/DVD, X-rays, MRIs, audio/video files, blueprints, and oversized documents.
  • Coordinating production projects and prioritizing work to meet client deadlines.
  • Performing electronic file transfers, conversions, uploads, and digital prepress.
  • Communicating with clients and internal teams regarding project specifications, deadlines, and production requirements.
  • Performing thorough quality control to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client instructions.
  • Troubleshooting printing, scanning, and other production-related issues.


Job Qualifications:

  • Strong and effective communication skills, both verbal and written; the presence, confidence, and communication skills to effectively represent the company.
  • Demonstrated speed and accuracy of work
  • Working knowledge of computers, or a demonstrated technical aptitude and an ability to quickly learn new systems
  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational achievement is required


Schedule/Location:

  • Hours: Monday-Friday 12:00PM-8:00PM (occasional weekend overtime)
  • In Office - Los Angeles, CA
