Working at Luby's as a Cook or in Food Production, you will aquire great culinary skills. Luby's offer positions as a Range Cook, Grill Cook, Fry Cook, Butcher, Salad and Vegetable Prep and Pastry Prep. As a Cook or Food Production you will receive and stock inventory, prepare, cook and assemble orders, keep the kitchen clean and organized, and maintain food safety and quality standards by following standard operating procedures. At Luby's we offer growth and career opportunities for positions such as Certified Trainer, Shift Leader and Management.

  • Previous experience is preferred, but is not required - we will train you!

  • Must be able to use to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds

  • Will need to be certified on specific equipment such as a Band Saw, Buffalo Chopper, Meat Tenderizer, Mixer and Potato Peeler. (this will take place after hiring)
