Position Summary

The Manager of Sales Support is responsible for overseeing the proposal and quoting function of the company, evaluating customer sales and financial performance, and supporting revenue-generating and profitability analyses. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain responsibility for the creation of key reporting metrics, as well as supporting the tracking of metrics to strategic initiatives.
  • Candidates should possess strong financial analysis skills, a passion for learning, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Partner cross-functionally to identify and resolve process inefficiencies and inconsistencies to drive continuous improvements across the organization.
  • Support the Vice President of Sales and Marketing with increasing sales success by ensuring the business has highly skilled sales support team(s) in place to drive sales demand, while maintaining an excellent implementation function to on-board new sales successes.
  • Supervise and manage team workflows to ensure efficiency within the team is maintained, as well as maintaining high internal service levels.
  • Facilitate internal meetings to gather key customer data/information, and develop analytical reviews.
  • Communicate with other internal departments to maximize efficiency. Communicate pricing format and requirements to business management team and provide input on the development of pricing strategies. Solicit competitive pricing/technical information from sales team.
  • Oversee customer onboarding including: prequalification process, portal access, contractual agreements, creation of SKUs to support new service offerings, identify and communicate customer specific billing requirements.
  • Support Sales by providing updated pipeline data and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) presentations.
  • Manage and maintain pricing data across 80+ custom price books, requiring advanced data manipulation skills and expertise in tools such as Dataloader.io for bulk uploads, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in price book and quote updates
  • Manage and customize Ironclad, the company’s contract management system, by designing workflows, optimizing processes, and implementing system enhancements to improve efficiency.
  • Oversee customer onboarding, including the prequalification process, portal access, contractual agreements, SKU creation for new service offerings, and the identification of customer-specific billing requirements.

 

Education and Experience 

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, Finance, or Economics, or equivalent relevant experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience in financial and business planning and analysis. 
  • Extensive data analysis, modeling, and reporting experience. 

Preferred

  • Strong financial analysis skills, a passion for learning, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 
  • Advanced proficiency with key software, including PowerPoint and analytical features of MS Excel.

Job Demands and Work Environment

  • Frequent walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods.
  •  Ability to work in industrial environments, including exposure to loud noise, heavy machinery, and potential environmental hazards.
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  •  Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines, analyze operational challenges, and make high-stakes decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments 
  • Travel required, including overnight stays as needed
