We are seeking an Experienced Express Car Wash Tunnel Technician to join our growing team in the Rio Grande Valley area. We are looking for skilled, dependable, and motivated individuals with hands-on experience working with express car wash tunnel equipment and systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, and equipment installation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of express tunnel operations and equipment and be able to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform repairs and preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment efficiently. This position requires an individual who can work independently, provide quality workmanship, communicate professionally, and represent JPO Wash Systems with a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

·         Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and service on express car wash tunnel equipment and related systems.

·         Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and equipment-related issues and determine appropriate solutions.

·         Repair, replace, install, and adjust equipment, components, and parts as necessary.

·         Perform preventative maintenance to help ensure tunnel equipment operates safely and efficiently.

·         Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical instructions.

·         Properly use and maintain tools and equipment required to perform assigned work.

·         Complete assigned service work accurately and efficiently.

·         Follow all company safety procedures, service standards, and established operating procedures.

·         Maintain professional communication with management and team members.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

·         Previous hands-on experience servicing and maintaining express car wash tunnel equipment is required.

·         Relevant technical, mechanical, electrical, or equipment service experience.

·         Associate degree from a two-year college or trade/technical school preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience.

·         Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

·         Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.

·         Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and maintenance instructions.

·         Basic math and written communication skills.

·         Basic to intermediate computer skills, including email communication.

·         Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and manage time effectively.

·         Dependable, organized, and committed to quality workmanship.

Physical Requirements

·         Ability to lift and carry equipment, tools, parts, and materials ranging from light to heavy weight.

·         Ability to intermittently and repeatedly bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, and perform repetitive hand movements.

·         Ability to safely climb and work from ladders when necessary.

·         Ability to stand and work for extended periods.

·         Ability to perform hands-on work in and around car wash equipment and service areas.

Schedule

Full-Time Position | Monday-Friday | Weekend availability as needed based on service requirements.

Compensation

Starting Pay: DOE (Depending on Experience)
