Job description

Established in 2013 under the same ownership as our Canadian counterpart (with 65+ years in the industry), Caron Transportation Systems USA is a premier bulk transportation company specializing in Dry and Liquid Logistics for the Oil & Gas industry. If you want the stability of an industry leader but crave a dynamic, roving route where your flexibility is highly rewarded, this is your lane.

Employment with Caron Transportation Systems USA is contingent upon the successful completion of pre-employment screenings, including drug and alcohol testing, motor vehicle record (MVR) review, and background checks. Candidates must meet all applicable safety and regulatory requirements to be considered for hire.

Job Duties:

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional driving experience, including proven winter driving experience handling mountain passes and unpredictable weather.
  • Geographic Adaptability: Strong working geographic knowledge of the Intermountain West; dry bulk transportation experience is a major asset.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Willing and able to work day and/or night shifts and handle long-distance OTR driving.
  • Professional Integrity: Clean drivers abstract, a polite and professional attitude, and a high regard for safety and reliability.

Pay, Benefits, and Perks:

  • Strong Earning Potential: $32/hr base pay with opportunity for job-based rate increases up to $36/hr. (Non-billable rate is $28/hr).
  • $4,000 Signing Bonus
  • Shift Premiums on top of competitive hourly wages.
  • Scheduled Rotation with the flexibility to work more if you want the miles.
  • Assigned Units: Your own dedicated, well-maintained truck to keep clean and tidy.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, disability, life, and AD&D insurance.
  • Retirement: Employer-matching 401(k) plan.
  • Paid Time Off: 10 paid vacation days and 9 paid holidays annually.
  • Must be able to pass an MVR, background screen, and drug and alcohol testing

This position requires the ability to operate a commercial vehicle and perform related physical tasks, including sitting for extended periods, entering and exiting the vehicle, and occasional lifting and movement of materials. Candidates must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

To apply for this position, please submit your resume outlining your relevant experience and qualifications for the role. We thank all applicants for their interest in joining Caron Transportation Systems USA; however, only qualified applicants will be contacted.
