STANDARD HOURS: Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week
FLSA STATUS: Hourly, Non-Exempt
COMPENSATION: Based on the Classified Pay Model
PERF: CPCSC is a Non-PERF District
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
SWIMMING POOL
- MUST BE KNOWLEDGEABLE IN ALL PHASES OF SWIMMING POOL MAINTENANCE &
REPAIR. MUST POSSESS OR HAVE THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN POOL OPERATOR
CERTIFICATION
โ€ข WASTEWATER & DRINKING WATER TREATMENT
- MUST BE KNOWLEDGEABLE OR HAVE THE ABILITY TO LEARN ALL PHASES OF
WASTEWATER & DRINKING WATER TREATMENT IN THE EVENT THE LICENSE HOLDER IS
ABSENT.
PUMPS
- MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO REMOVE/REPAIR/REPLACE ALL SIZES OF PUMPS FROM
1/4HP TO 25HP AND BE ABLE TO TROUBLESHOOT PUMP CONTROLS.
FIRE SYSTEMS
- MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO TROUBLESHOOT AND UNDERSTAND SIMPLEX/EST FIRE
PANELS
โ€ข BELLS/SOUND SYSTEMS
- MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO TROUBLESHOOT AND REPAIR RACK SYSTEMS
โ€ข HVAC
- MUST HAVE WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF HEATING/COOLING BUILDING LOOPS
- MUST HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING AND WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF BUILDING
AUTOMATION .
- MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO TROUBLESHOOT AND REPAIR CHILLERS/AIR
HANDLERS/PACKAGED HEAT PUMPS/COOLING TOWERS ELECTRICAL
- MUST HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY TO WORK ON INDOOR/OUTDOOR LIGHTING
# LOW VOLTAGE/120V TO 480V CONTROLS
ALL OTHER PHASES OF BUILDING MAINTENACE (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO)
  • SNOW REMOVAL
  • DOOR & LOCK HARDWARE/GATE ACTUATORS
  • WINDOWS
  • ROOFS O FURNITURE MOVING
  • WILLING TO BE IN THE EMERGENCY ON-CALL ROTATION

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
  • Maintenance certifications preferred but not required
  • HVAC Certification is preferred
  • Prior mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and overall machine troubleshooting skills preferred
  • Knowledge of industrial, mechanical and electrical codes, techniques and standards
  • Familiarity with government regulations for industry and safe work practices dealing with machine repair
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
