Prefabrication work involves manufacturing building components, such as walls, floors, and modules, in a factory setting before transporting them to the construction site for assembly. Workers in this field often use specialized tools and follow precise specifications to ensure quality and fit. This method can reduce on-site construction time and improve safety and efficiency.

What does a typical day look like for a Prefab worker on the job site?

A typical day for a Prefab worker involves assembling building components according to detailed plans, often within a factory or on-site modular construction environment. You’ll be working closely with a team to ensure all elements are fitted accurately, making use of various tools and machinery throughout the process. Safety meetings and quality checks are a routine part of the workflow to maintain standards.
