A Day in the Life
You begin by reviewing packing lists, assembly drawings, parts lists, and work instructions. With tools and components organized, you assemble parts and subassemblies to specification, confirming proper fit, alignment, and fastening at every stage. Throughout the shift, you perform visual checks to verify quality and completeness, documenting anything that needs attention and alerting the Team Leader to any material, equipment, process, or quality concerns. You help teammates by sharing what you knowโassisting with training when neededโand you keep your station neat, safe, and audit-ready. As priorities shift, you take on additional tasks as directed by the Team Leader, Production Supervisor, or Manager, always following company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
What Youโll Tackle
- Translate packing lists, assembly drawings, parts lists, and work instructions into precise builds.
- Assemble components and products according to established procedures and specifications.
- Confirm fit, alignment, and correct fastening of parts and subassemblies.
- Perform visual inspections to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Report equipment, material, process, or quality issues to the Team Leader.
- Support coworker training on assembly methods and job tasks.
- Keep the work area safe, clean, and well organized.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety rules.
- Take on additional duties as assigned by the Team Leader, Production Supervisor, or Manager.
What You Bring
- Prior assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, work instructions, and packing lists.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong quality mindset.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Comfort working independently in a fast-paced production setting.
Physical Demands
- Manual dexterity and good vision for precise assembly and inspection.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 60 pounds.
- Comfort standing for extended periods during the shift.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm motions.
