Description:
We are seeking a responsible and experienced baker with an eye for quality and a passion for precision to bake our scratch made bagels and other menu items.
Core Responsibilities:
Open the store each morning and organize product for efficient bake
Organize, seed, season, and bake bagels for store opening
Cook food items according to specified cooking methods, temperatures, and portion sizes to ensure optimal taste, texture and presentation
Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling, storage, and labeling of ingredients
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Set up and stock station with all necessary supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth, efficient service
Ensure that all food items that leave your station meet Surf Bagel standards in terms of taste, appearance and portion size
Participate in cleaning and maintenance tasks, including equipment cleaning, dishwashing, and kitchen organization to uphold cleanliness standards and ensure a safe working environment

Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time
