Job description

Prepare detailed cost estimates for new and existing products.

Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs to establish product standard costs.

Collaborate with Engineering to evaluate design changes and their impact on product costs.

Review manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Maintain costing databases, bills of materials (BOMs), and routing information.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field.

2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (experience in electronics, connectors, cable assemblies, or precision manufacturing preferred).

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and continuous improvement tools.

Experience with time studies, process mapping, and work measurement.
