Job Location:   Gorham, Maine

Shift Differential:  10%

Education Level:  High School Diploma or Equivalent Required



Responsibilities:

  • Perform intricate, first-article machine configurations and modify CNC code directly on the floor for ODAT jobs.
  • Interpret advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) maps to secure exact part conformance.
  • Provide technical setup support and mentoring to junior operators inside the ODAT division.
  • Partner with ODAT division engineers to improve machining paths and reduce material scrap rates.


Qualifications:

  • Journeyman status or equivalent technical engineering degree.
  • Preferred but not required:  7+ years of advanced CNC precision machining experience.
  • Expert mastery of GD&T rules and advanced multi-axis machining applications.


Key Competencies:

  • Autonomy, advanced troubleshooting, peer mentorship, and precision compliance.


Physical Requirements:

  • Standing for up to 10 hours; lifting work-holding setups and heavy metal stock up to 50 lbs.
