Precision Industrial Contractors (PIC), headquartered in Woodland, Washington, is a growing mechanical industrial construction company providing construction, maintenance, and industrial services throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We are seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive Toolroom & Logistics Specialist to support our field operations by ensuring our tools, equipment, vehicles, and inventory are maintained, organized, and ready for deployment.

This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, staying organized, and taking ownership of day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our construction teams by keeping equipment, materials, and logistics running efficiently.

In a Nutshell

As the Toolroom & Logistics Specialist, you'll serve as the central hub for company tools, equipment, vehicles, and inventory. You'll coordinate the movement of tools and materials between the shop and jobsites, maintain accurate inventory records, assist with equipment maintenance, and help ensure our crews have what they need to work safely and efficiently.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in organization, enjoys improving processes, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the daily issue, return, tracking, and organization of company tools and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of tools, equipment, consumables, and shop materials.
  • Inspect, clean, test, and perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they remain job-ready.
  • Identify damaged or missing equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements.
  • Mobilize and demobilize tools, equipment, and materials for construction projects throughout the region.
  • Load, unload, secure, and transport equipment safely using company vehicles and trailers.
  • Assist with receiving shipments, stocking inventory, and organizing deliveries.
  • Coordinate vehicle movements for inspections, maintenance appointments, fueling, and cleaning.
  • Operate forklifts and various material handling equipment safely.
  • Assist field crews by preparing tool packages and ensuring equipment is available before project mobilization.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe toolroom, warehouse, and shop environment.
  • Perform routine facility maintenance, landscaping, and general upkeep of company property.
  • Assist with special projects and provide operational support to various departments as needed.
  • Recommend improvements to inventory organization, storage methods, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to inventory, inspections, repairs, and equipment movement.
  • Follow all company safety policies and maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in construction, industrial maintenance, warehouse operations, logistics, equipment management, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Experience operating power tools and hand tools safely.
  • Working knowledge of construction equipment, tools, and industrial materials.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move 50+ pounds.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work collaboratively with office staff and field crews.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory tracking systems.
  • CDL or experience pulling trailers is a plus, but not required.

Key Personal Attributes

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Dependable and accountable.
  • Resourceful with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Safety-focused.
  • Adaptable and willing to wear many hats.
  • Proactive rather than reactive.
  • Customer-service minded when supporting internal crews.
  • Committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Position package includes:

  • Hourly wage $18 - $22 per hour DOE
  • Medical/dental after 90 days
  • 401K available at next enrollment date

Environment:
