Production Manager

Salary: $60k-$70k

Job Summary
The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of the production process in our maintenance division. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services, maintaining high standards of quality, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. The Production Manager will have direct reports, including team leaders and crew members, and will be responsible for their development and performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

  - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of team leaders and crew members to achieve operational excellence.

  - Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs to enhance team skills.

  - Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

 

Operational Oversight:

  - Plan, schedule, and oversee daily operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.

  - Monitor and manage resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  - Implement and maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. 

  - Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to align production schedules with client expectations.

 

Quality Control:

  - Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure the quality of work meets company standards and client expectations.

  - Address any issues or deficiencies promptly and effectively.

  - Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and quality across all projects.- Handle client complaints or concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Budget and Financial Management:

  - Track expenses, analyze financial data, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.

  - Report on financial performance and production metrics to senior management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in horticulture, landscape management, business administration, or a related field preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or a related industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

- Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, equipment, and best practices.

- Proficiency in project management software and Google Workspace Suite.

- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
