Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Foreman, Landscape Hardscape to lead and oversee the installation, construction, and finishing of hardscape elements in outdoor landscape projects. This dynamic role requires a hands-on leader who can coordinate teams, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain safety standards on-site. As a key driver of project success, you will bring expertise in hardscape construction, including masonry, concrete finishing, and fabrication, to create stunning outdoor environments that meet client expectations and industry standards. Duties

  • Lead and supervise landscape hardscape crews during installation of features such as patios, retaining walls, walkways, fire pits, and decorative stonework.
  • Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks efficiently, and monitor progress to ensure timely project completion.
  • Inspect work sites regularly to uphold safety protocols, quality standards, and adherence to blueprints and schematics.
  • Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication machinery to execute tasks accurately.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to review plans, interpret blueprints and schematics, and address any onsite challenges promptly.
  • Ensure all work complies with local codes, regulations, and environmental standards related to construction inspection and restoration.
  • Maintain detailed documentation including daily reports, inspection logs, and project records for accountability and future reference.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in landscape hardscape construction with strong knowledge of masonry, concrete forming/finishing, plastering, tile laying, and related trades.
  • Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation (such as skid steers or mini excavators), and fabrication techniques.
  • Familiarity with construction management principles including scheduling, resource allocation, and safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical components (where applicable), roofing basics or stucco application is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively on busy construction sites.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members.
  • Relevant certifications in construction inspection or safety training are advantageous; experience with Bluebeam software is a plus.
