The Color Works inc. is a reputable Auto Body shop in Los Lunas, NM. We are a medium size shop in a growing community with lots of opportunities. We have a Collision and Mechanical department, been service in Valencia County for 55 years.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Automotive Body Technician located in Los Lunas, NM. The Automotive Body Technician will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance, repairing collision damage, and auto body work. Day-to-day tasks include assessing damage, developing repair plans, welding, sanding, and refinishing surfaces. The technician will also be required to adhere to safety protocols and ensure high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications
• Experience with Collision and Auto Body repair
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude
• Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
• Relevant certifications or training in auto body repair
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in autobody collision painting in a professional setting
• Knowledge of vehicle repair techniques, and modern auto repair methods
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with excellent communication skills
• Applicant must possess a valid driver's license with insurance and be able to provide their own tools
• I-car training a plus
