  • Ensure compliance in respect of Health and Safety (prevention program) and quality system
  • Ensure compliance with the standards of construction designs, plans and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with the budget of project
  • Ensure that the plans meet the guidelines, the requirement of building codes and other regulations
  • Interact with subcontractors and other members of the engineering team
  • Prepare work breakdown structures, quantity takeoffs, and requests for quotes
  • Participate in preliminary and final cost estimates  
  • Perform all other related tasks that will help complete the project

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or other related discipline
  • 3-6 years of experience on large heavy civil projects 
  • Experience in foundation, piling, rebar, substructures, concrete or concrete precast is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of reading shop drawings, review shop drawings in conjunction with design drawings, specifications
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Experience with/knowledge of AutoCAD would be considered an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Collaborative attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Exceptional organization skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Valid Driver's license
