Mack Industries is looking for a Quality Control Manager to join our team and lead quality initiatives within our precast concrete manufacturing facility. In this role, you will oversee quality control processes, ensure products meet industry standards and project specifications, and partner with production teams to continuously improve materials, processes, and finished products.

What You'll Do
As our Quality Control Manager, you will:
  • Lead quality control activities throughout the precast concrete production process.
  • Perform pre-pour inspections of forms, reinforcement steel, and inserts to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Inspect and test materials and finished products at various stages of production.
  • Identify, document, and communicate quality concerns to production teams and management.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, product layouts, schematic diagrams, and concrete mix designs.
  • Communicate daily with the batch plant regarding concrete mix performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation, records, and data entry.
  • Investigate discrepancies and work collaboratively to resolve quality issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve materials, processes, and products.
  • Supervise, train, and support Quality Control Technicians.
  • Provide safety, quality, and training presentations.
  • Utilize formal problem-solving methods and collaborate with teams to develop effective solutions.
  • Support other departments as needed to ensure operational success.
  • Continue developing technical knowledge and skills to support company goals.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify small differences in products and processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and efficiency.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to learn new systems and software.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • ACI Level 1 Certification preferred but not required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance or a related field preferred.
  • Experience leading or supervising quality teams.
  • Experience in manufacturing, construction, or precast concrete environments.
