Job description

The Defiance Christian Church is a restoration movement church located in Defiance, Ohio. We have an average Sunday morning attendance of around 150. We are in need of a full time minister, a baptized believer in Jesus Christ. The candidate we are looking for will have at least a bachelors degree from a restoration movement college, at least a few years of preaching ministry, and ability to teach the Word of God.

Duties include:

  • Day to day operations of the church, management of the paid and volunteer staff.
  • Maintain regular office hours.
  • Provide Bible based counseling as needed.
  • Sunday sermon.
  • Teach at least one Sunday school or evening class.
  • Pastoral visitation as needed.
