Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Boise, Idaho.

Shift Notes

9hr days (start time between 7-8am). M-F, minimal call

- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have have 1 year of endoscopy experience. No first time travelers. Must have inpatient- hospital endoscopy experience. Must be comfortable with sedation including pushing propofol.

- Required Duties: RNs: are expected to float between Pre-op, Intra Op, and Post Op/PACU in Endoscopy unit. Only General sedation patients stay for PACU. Prefer pediatric experience- may be asked to work with them. Have some perm staff RNs that scrub; scrub experience is a plus but not required. - Common Cases: Patient Population: Peds- Geratrics. EGD, Coloscopy, foreign bodies, impactions, ERCPs with stent placement or removal, pancreatic biospsy, lung biopsy, spy glass, and more. Will work in collaboration with IR for some cases.

- RT Equipment: CRNAs and Anesthesia for General & MAC; RNs administer Moderate Sediation and Propofol. - Shifts & Scheduling: 4- 9 hr shifts; Start time between 7-8 AM. - Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1 night per week; from end of shift to beginning of shift the next day - Weekend/Call Requirements: None - Holiday/Call Requirements: May be asked to go into Holiday call rotation - What is call response time: 30 mins - Floating Requirements: Not typical; could be asked to float to another sister facility Nampa and Merdian in speciality or as a sitter (rarely happens). - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Provided by hospital - How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: RNs: 3-4 shifts with preceptor. Techs: 3-4 shifts with preceptor.
