Per Diem Registered Nurse - Short Stay Observation (3 Mandell)

Position Summary/ Department Summary: We are seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to join the team within our Post Anesthesia Care Observation Unit on 3 Mandell. Key Responsibilities:

  • Caring for post-surgical pediatric patients
  • Working collaboratively in a family-centered environment.
  • Ability to work a Day/Night rotation. Primarily 12-hour shifts, with some flexibility needed for 8- and 10-hour shifts. Weekend requirement will include Friday nights and/or Saturday days. No Sundays, no on-call requirements currently. Holidays are required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of inpatient Boston Children's Hospital RN experience or 2 years of other pediatric inpatient experience. Post-surgical care experience preferred.
  • Licensure/ Certifications: Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse

Status: Part-Time

Pay Range: $40.60-$87.44 Hourly
