Located in the heart of Central California, Madera Community Hospital is a General Acute Care, private, not-for-profit hospital dedicated to improving and maintaining the health and wellness of residents throughout the Central Valley. Position Summary:

The Pre Hospital Liaison Nurse assures the physiological, psychosocial, safety, learning, rehabilitative, spiritual, cultural, and self-care needs of patients and families are addressed. Will actively participate in supporting and meeting the hospital's goals for patient satisfaction and national quality core measures. Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care in an acute care setting. Will serve as the liaison between Madera Community Hospital and Central California Emergency Medical Services Agency (CCEMSA). Will facilitate patient care record collection and data sharing. Will participate in disaster related drills and committees. Will provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.


Full Time Position


Qualifications:

Requires Current State of California Registered Nurse Licensure, Prefer BSN degree.

Requires minimum 5 years recent clinical experience in the Emergency Department, with 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Requires active MICN certification

Requires certification in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care Nursing

Requires NIHSS and Basic Arrythmia

Requires Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
