Automotive Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Technician - Holler Hyundai

The Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Technician is responsible for ensuring all new Hyundai and Genesis vehicles are thoroughly inspected, prepared, and ready for customer delivery. This role also includes the installation of port-installed accessories to manufacture standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to delivering vehicles in flawless conditions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
  • Perform comprehensive pre-delivery inspections on all incoming new vehicles in accordance with Hyundai and Genesis factory guidelines
  • Check and verify vehicle systems, including mechanical, electrical, safety, and cosmetic components
  • Identify and address any defects, damages, or missing components prior to delivery
  • Install port-provided accessories such as floor mats, cargo trays, roof racks, spoilers, wheel locks, electronics, and trim upgrades
  • Ensure all accessory installations meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards
  • Perform software updates, system calibrations, and battery checks as required
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, and installations
  • Coordinate with service, parts, and sales departments to ensure timely vehicle readiness
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Adhere to all dealership, manufacturer, and safety protocols
  • Any other duties assigned by managers

Minimum Qualifications:
