Job description

Hoekstra Electric is a faith-driven, family-first electrical contractor serving West Michigan with excellence, integrity, and a positive experience. We're committed to building a team that thrives professionally and personally while doing work in industries like agriculture, commercial, controls, industrial manufacturing, low voltage, and technology.

We're looking for our next great Electrical Apprentice! This role involves hands-on electrical installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. You'll be mentored by licensed electricians while working toward your Electrical Journeyperson's License.


What You'll Do
Assist with electrical installations and repairs
Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems
Read and interpret schematics and diagrams
Work closely with licensed electricians and project teams
Uphold safety standards and company values on every job site


What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of electrical apprenticeship experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift to 50lbs.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Commitment to safety, integrity and teamwork
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (drug screen, physical, background check, and motor vehicle check)
