What job puts people under anesthesia?

Anesthesiologists are medical doctors responsible for administering anesthesia to patients before surgeries or procedures. They monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels throughout the procedure to ensure patient safety. Other roles, such as nurse anesthetists, also administer anesthesia under supervision or independently depending on the setting.

What is the highest paying job in anaesthesia?

The highest paying roles in anaesthesia are often specialized positions such as cardiac or neuroanesthesiologists, who require additional training and certification. These roles typically offer higher salaries due to the complexity and critical nature of the procedures involved.

Anesthesiologists are among the highest-paid medical professionals, with some earning over $400,000 annually, and top earners in certain regions or with specialized skills can approach or exceed seven figures.
