Prairie Farms is a farmer-owned dairy cooperative, founded in 1938 by Illinois dairy farmers. It represents over 600 independent family farms and produces a wide range of dairy and food products, including milk, cheese, ice cream, and yogurt. Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School diploma or GED
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Ability to lift up to 61lbs on a regular basis
  • Comfortable with standing, pushing, and stacking
  • Ability to work in and out of cold environments
  • Must have good communication skills

Description:

Will work in Ice Cream load-out and hardening room.

Will need to learn all aspects of Ice Cream load-out, skidding deck and storage including the crane and outside storage facilities.

Will be used in Ice Cream production as needed.

Will be used to relieve vacations, sickness, and personal days or for other reasons.

Other duties as assigned.

Days and Hours:

  • Typically, 2nd shift hours with a start time between noon and 4pm
  • Will need to work other shifts as needed
  • Weekends as needed
