Job Description
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing client base to drive account growth and meet quarterly revenue targets.
  • Own the full renewal cycle, negotiating contract terms and pricing to meet or exceed budgeted renewal targets.
  • Lead new client onboarding and build long-term account growth plans that map product usage to client goals and expansion potential.
  • Resolve client problems quickly and effectively, using every interaction to strengthen the relationship and uncover additional needs.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular, consultative contact — understanding client goals and challenges and positioning PracticeMatch as a trusted partner.
  • Promote broader adoption of PracticeMatch's product suite to increase client ROI, strengthen renewal likelihood, and surface new upsell opportunities.
  • Maintain contracts and ensure billing accuracy.
  • Document client communications in the proprietary database and collaborate with management to address existing and anticipated concerns.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and pipeline/forecast records for all assigned accounts to support sales reporting and territory planning.
  • Travel to client locations, physician shows, and provider shows to build relationships and identify growth opportunities, as needed.
  • Exhibit a professional, consultative sales presence with clients — remaining patient, courteous, personable, and quick-thinking under pressure.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from a four-year college or university and at least 3 years of Account Management (with sales) experience, or an Associate's degree with at least 5 years of Account Management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, with a demonstrated track record of meeting growth, upsell, or retention targets.
  • Physician recruitment experience preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel and Word) and CRM/pipeline management tools.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales, renewal, or upsell targets in a quota-carrying or goal-driven role, with strong negotiation skills for contract renewals and pricing discussions.
  • Self-motivated, assertive, and competitive, with the ability to achieve individual and team goals with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to build credibility and trust quickly, balancing client advocacy with a results-oriented, revenue-focused mindset.
  • Experience using AI tools a plus (Claude, Copilot, etc.)
