Job description

Job Summary: The Practice Supervisor is responsible for oversight of clinic operations. Responsible for the enforcement of clinic policies and procedures. The incumbent is responsible for human resource issues, including, training, staffing, and payroll. Ensures patients have proper insurance requirements for billing and performs daily collection reconciliation activities. Responsible for managing the daily operations of the office.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversees daily practice operations. Identifies and resolves operational problems.
  • Supervises assigned personnel.
  • Reconciles employee time sheets and maintains leave records.
  • Prepares payroll for employees and physicians.
  • Assists with hiring and training of assigned staff.
  • Orders and maintains office/medical supplies.
  • Ensures patient visits are locked and billed, jellybeans are addressed, patient inquiries are answered, referrals/precepts are obtained, tasks in the EMR are addressed, and portal inquiries are attended.
  • Oversees daily payment reconciliation.
  • Is, or becomes, an ECW superuser
  • Performs other related duties as directed or required.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.
  • Provides coverage to front office as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role in an office setting, required[KA1] .
Education: High School, required.
