Job description

The Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) Engineer will support the space program located at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop, maintain, and update integrated logic models and quantitative fault tree analyses (SAPHIRE) supporting risk models for the Human Landing System (HLS) program.Review and assess project reliability documentation to ensure consistency and alignment with program requirements.Develop and use analytical tools to identify and satisfy reliability and risk assessment requirements for MSFC programs and projects.Conduct Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for the HLS Moon2Mars Program, including support for PRA model development, problem investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective‑action recommendations.Provide expertise in evaluating documentation related to manufacturing, inspection, and test processes for programs and projects.Perform focused quantitative risk assessments to support risk‑informed decisions on flight risk and mitigation alternatives.Perform other duties as assigned.REQUIRED:This position has been posted at multiple levels (must meet minimum level indicated).
