Job description

Directly responsible for sales, providing quotation, managing and coordinating all small and large format printing.
Pearl River Resort Associates are required, on a continual basis to...
Adhere to any and all company and departmental policies, practices and procedures.
Contribute to a safe work environment, through compliance with established safety guidelines, identifying potential safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate person for proper resolution.
Maintain a professional departmental, company and community reputation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Responsible for small and large format printing staff.
  • Responsible for business to business and business to consumer sales for all printing.
  • Coordinate with affiliated outside agencies, vendors, consultants, and other Tribal organizations to ensure their printing needs are met.
  • Provide quotations for all printing requests in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for reviewing and analyzing all print reporting and give suggestions based on the reports.
  • Responsible for the care and maintenance of all small and large format printing machinery, including finishing equipment.
  • Responsible for all small and large format material inventory.
  • Work under established time constraints and deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Maintains the highest degree of confidentiality.
  • Leads by setting a positive example to all Associates.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises the daily activities of all Advertising associates on assigned shift.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training Associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. AGE and GAMING:
21 years of age or above.
Gaming property - Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's degree in Print Media or a related field is required. Five (5) years' experience in small and large format printing is required. Previous experience or an equivalent amount of previous on-the-job experience or industrial training may be substituted in lieu of the formal education requirements.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills. Must have knowledge of print production. Strong computer skills in both Macintosh and Windows environments. Strong preference is given to candidates with previous use and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and digital/offset software.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information in on-on-one and small group situation.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract concrete variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Essential responsibilities include moderate physical ability such as lift or maneuver at least sixty (60) pounds, and stand for extended periods in excess of four (4) hours. Bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, kneeling, pulling and pushing may be required throughout the assigned shift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke.
Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Associates must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
