Douglas Elliman Public Relations Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Public Relations Manager will play a key role in supporting and executing Douglas Ellimanโ€™s strategic communications initiatives, overseeing the development, coordination, and direction of public relations efforts on behalf of the brokerage, its development marketing division and its agents. Based in Miami and reporting directly to the senior director of public relations for Florida, this individual will collaborate closely with internal teams and external media to elevate brand visibility, strengthen market positioning, and drive meaningful press coverage.

We are seeking a proactive, results-driven professional who will be instrumental in shaping and executing comprehensive PR strategies. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and storyteller, capable of identifying compelling narratives, managing multiple priorities, and delivering high-impact media placements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Salary range: $75K to $90K

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and lead the execution of strategic media plans for both individual agents and Douglas Ellimanโ€™s corporate brand
  • Curate, format, and distribute daily press coverage for โ€œThe Daily,โ€ ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain and continuously update key PR infrastructure, including media lists, press clip archives, and editorial calendars
  • Support the planning and execution of events, campaigns, and photoshoots, ensuring seamless coordination and brand alignment
  • Conduct ongoing research to inform PR strategy, identify media opportunities, and track industry trends
  • Drive targeted media outreach, with a focus on securing placements in top-tier national, business, and real estate outlets
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and other internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging and integrated campaigns
  • Review, edit, and uphold quality standards across all written materials, including press releases, pitches, and corporate communications
  • Represent Douglas Elliman at industry events, networking functions, and conferences

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in public relations or a related field
  • Strong understanding of the real estate media landscape, including established relationships and insight into reporter preferences across top-tier, business, and trade outlets
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Confident public speaker with the ability to advise internal stakeholders on PR best practices
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally
