JOB TITLE

Communications Specialist

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Communications Specialist is responsible for developing clear, accurate and engaging communications that support the organization's internal and external messaging. This position serves as a key writer and editor for the Communications and Public Relations team, producing high-quality content for employees, executives, media and external stakeholders while ensuring consistency in messaging, tone and brand standards.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer who is highly organized, self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This individual must be able to translate complex information into clear, concise communications and work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.

ย  ย Write, edit and proofread a wide variety of internal and external communications.
ย  ย Develop content for company advisors, employee announcements, newsletters and executive communications.
ย  ย Draft and edit press releases, media advisories, talking points, speeches, presentations, executive correspondence and Q&A documents.
ย  ย Support the development of communication strategies and messaging for organizational initiatives.
ย  ย Ensure all communications align with company messaging, brand standards and editorial guidelines.
ย  ย Review communications prepared by team members and business partners for clarity, consistency, grammar and accuracy.
ย  ย Translate technical or operational information into communications that are easily understood by diverse audiences.
ย  ย Coordinate with departments throughout the organization to gather information, manage communication requests and ensure timely delivery of messaging.

ย  ย Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
